Itinerary

Day 1Twin Lakes

The adventure begins with an early domestic flight to Olgii, arriving in the morning. Our crew will be waiting for you at the local airport. You’ll head towards the beautiful Twin Lakes which is about a 5-6 hour drive. En route to the lakes, you’ll traverse mountain ranges and rivers, surrounded by rocky landscapes. At some beautiful spot along the way, we’ll make a quick stop to set up camp for lunch. We will arrive in the lakeshore and our crew will set up tent, including kitchen tents. Day 2Horse Trekking towards Baga Turgen Valley

You’ll wake in the beautiful site of the nature in the morning and during breakfast a locals come up with their Mongolian horses. We’ll ride horses to the Baga Turgen Valley for about 5-6 hours. Overnight at tent.(B/L/D).

Day 3Baga Turgen Valley & Waterfall

The Baga Turgen Valley is a breathtaking destination in western Mongolia, known for its stunning natural beauty. Today, we’ll hike 5–6 km through the valley to explore the magnificent Baga Turgen Waterfall. Overnight stay in the area.(B/L/D)The Baga Turgen Waterfall

Day 4Oigor Valley & Petrgolyphs

We’ll head to the Ranger Station in the Oigor Valley, located within Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. Along the way, we’ll visit the petroglyphs in the Tsagaan Salaa mountains, where you’ll find rock carvings dating back 3,000–4,000 years.Oigor Petroglyphs These ancient artworks depict scenes of horsemen, deer, dogs, and more, providing a captivating glimpse into the lives and culture of early people. Day 5Base Camp of Altai Tavan Bogd National Park

The journey continues to explore the beautiful Altai Tavan Bogd National Park for about 2 hours. The Altai Tavan Bogd boasts five perennially snow-capped peaks, with the highest named Khuiten towering at 4374 meters above sea level. Additionally, there are three substantial glaciers, the longest one spanning an impressive 20 kilometers.Altai Tavan Bogd mountains; Glaciers and Peaks; Khuiten, Malchin, Nairamdal, Burged, NaranThe final parking for the vehicles is at a sacred site on the hill where you’ll be treated to an extraordinary view of the valley landscape, providing an ideal setting for breaks to capture photos and take rests. Furthermore, you’ll enjoy hiking for 6-7 km (roundtrip) to get closer to the peaks and glaciers. Then, you’ll return the Ranger Station. Day 6Uriankhai Family and Archery competition

Bid farewell to the family, and leave twin lakes to village Sagsai for about 4-5 hours where you’ll meet the local Uriankhai family and experience their daily life. The Uriankhai is an ethnic group of Mongolians who have dwelled in the western part of Mongolia for hundreds of years. Their language is slightly different from the Khalkh Mongolian language, and their main religions are Buddhism and shamanism. They’ll make us traditional Mongolian vodka from dairies. Regarding their tradition, you’ll have a small archery competition with locals after you learn how to handle the Mongolian bow and arrow. Overnight in Ger camp.(B/L/D)1. Local

Day 7Local Eagle Hunter Family

We’ll visit the local Eagle Hunter Family in Sagsai village and will experience their culture. There are many daily tasks to do in Kazakh family. You’ll try your hands some of them such as milking the cows, making dairy products and more. You’ll also have amazing chanses of taking your pictures with amazing bird, golden eagles. In the evening, we will return to Olgii town. You’ll stay at Ger tourist camp.(B/L/D)Eagle Hunter Family

Day 8Return to Ulaanbaatar

You’ll have an early breakfast at the tourist camp. Then, will get transferred to the airport by drivers and tour guides. We’ll bid farewell, hoping to be a part of your unforgettable vacation and bring some vibrant moments to your life.(B)
